Meet The Founder
Behind every Hog is a story.
Lyndsie Anderson
Data Hog
Lyndsie Anderson is the visionary behind The Identity Outpost — a brand built to celebrate individuality, spark community, and create meaningful connections.
A proud Harford County native, Lyndsie brings a rare mix of analytical precision and creative vision to everything she does.
By day, Lyndsie serves as an Operations Research Systems Analyst in the Data Integration Branch of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, where she turns complex data into actionable insights.
Known by her peers as a true data junkie, she thrives on solving problems others shy away from and finding the patterns that tell the real story.
By night (and often early mornings), Lyndsie pours her energy into growing The Identity Outpost — combining her love for people, purpose, and design into a movement that’s as bold and authentic as the communities it represents.
She’s passionate about building something that’s not just a brand, but a place where people feel seen, valued, and part of something bigger.
At the heart of it all is family. Lyndsie has been married to her husband, Ryan, for nine years — high school sweethearts who have been together since they were sixteen. Nearly two decades later, their partnership is the foundation behind The Identity Outpost. Together, they’re raising two energetic boys, Oliver (5) and Henry (4), who inspire them to dream bigger and model what it means to work hard for something you believe in.
Whether she’s solving a high-stakes data challenge or designing the next “Hog” identity, Lyndsie approaches it with curiosity, connection, and a relentless drive to make it matter.
FROM LYNDSIE, CREATOR OF THE IDENTITY OUTPOST
Hi there,
I’m so glad you’re here.
The Identity Outpost wasn’t born from a corporate strategy or trend forecast. It began as a thought I couldn’t shake — the kind that followed me while I was driving, cooking dinner, or trying to fall asleep. For years, I pushed it aside with excuses: I’m too busy. The boys are too young. Work is too demanding. Maybe someday.
But someday never comes on its own.
One day, I realized the only thing holding me back was… me. I’d spent years cheering on other people chasing their ideas, and it hit me — why not me? I’ve learned that betting on myself usually pays off, and even if it didn’t, I’d rather try and stumble than keep wondering “what if?”
So I stopped waiting for the perfect time and built the thing I’d been dreaming about all along — a place where who we are, what we love, and how we show up in the world is something to be seen, celebrated, and worn with pride.
Like most people, I wear a lot of hats: mom, analyst, wife, creative, dreamer. For too long, I felt like I had to quiet parts of myself to fit into a world that wanted “clean boxes.” But the truth is, we’re all made of stories — of obsessions, quirks, and passions that make us, us. And that’s not something to hide. That’s something to share.
So I built this.
The Identity Outpost is a home for those parts of you. It’s where the things you love — coffee, fitness, pets, whatever fuels your soul — become communities of people just like you. Our sub-brands, like Coffee Hog, Fit Hog, and Paw Hog, are more than clever names. They’re flags you fly that say: this is me.
Every product also gives back to causes that matter to those communities. Because identity should empower more than just the wearer — it should ripple outward and fuel good in the world. That’s the heartbeat behind our Fuel the Outpost program.
We’re just getting started. This isn’t a side hustle — it’s a mission I believe in with my whole heart. I’ve poured myself into every corner of this brand, and I’m inviting you to not just shop with us, but to help shape what this becomes.
So, if you're ready to celebrate the things that make you, you… If you're looking for a community that's real, fun and unapologetically itself… If you’re ready to outfit your identity, not mute it…
Welcome.
You’ve found your outpost.
With love and fire,
Lyndsie
